ZipWise is still preparing for its first App Store release. The support and privacy pages are available early for testing and review.
Where are my files sent?+
Nowhere. Archive processing happens on your device. You choose both the archive and extraction destination through Apple’s Files interfaces.
Why can’t an archive open?+
The archive may be incomplete, corrupted, use an unsupported codec, require a missing multipart volume, or use an encryption variant the installed engine cannot read.
Does ZipWise replace Files?+
No. ZipWise focuses on archives and relies on Files, iCloud Drive, and installed File Providers for storage and organization.
Can extraction continue in the background?+
iOS does not guarantee unlimited background execution. Keep ZipWise open for long extractions; the app stops safely if the system suspends the job.
