libarchive

The archive engine builds libarchive 3.8.7 from checksum-pinned sources. Its BSD redistribution notices are preserved in the repository and bundled in the app.

LZMA SDK

The read-only 7Z engine uses a checksum-pinned, extract-only subset of LZMA SDK 26.03, which its author placed in the public domain.

UnRAR

RAR and RAR5 reading uses the free portable UnRAR source. ZipWise does not create RAR archives or recreate the proprietary RAR compression algorithm.

XZ / liblzma

XZ 5.8.2 provides LZMA and XZ decoding. Only the 0BSD-licensed liblzma library is included, not command-line tools or scripts.

Zstandard

Zstandard 1.5.7 is included under its BSD license option. Copyright (c) Meta Platforms, Inc. and affiliates. Full notices are bundled with the app.
